説明
In this bilingual edition of a timeless classic, Shakespeare's "Hamlet" weaves a complex tapestry of ambition, betrayal, and the quest for truth. The tale is set in the shadowy court of Denmark, where Prince Hamlet grapples with the ghost of his murderously ambitious father and the treachery that has enveloped his family. The weight of existential questions looms large as Hamlet navigates his own sanity, contemplating themes of life, death, and morality amidst the court’s intrigue.
The bilingual format invites readers to engage with Shakespeare's rich language in both Spanish and English, enriching their understanding of the text and the emotional depth of its characters. As Hamlet confronts his destiny and the corrupt world around him, the timeless struggle between action and inaction echoes throughout the ages, making it a riveting experience for both new readers and Shakespeare aficionados alike. This edition stands as a testament to the enduring power of one of literature's greatest tragedies.

Hamlet may very well be regarded as one of the greatest tragedies ever written. However I found it rather dull, certainly in Act I and Act II. It does pick up from Act III onwards and at that point I began to enjoy reading it.
It, being my first time reading the Play, was quite difficult to follow but I'm sure subsequent rereads will open up the language to me and I may then see fit to increase my rating.
