Hands-On Thinking Activities: Centers Through the Year

This book tells you everything you need to create a wide variety of activity centers that build critical thinking skills. Required materials are inexpensive and readily available. As students complete the tasks in each center, they will practice the skills of predicting, estimating, interpreting, sorting, classifying, organizing, designing, and following directions. Every center has complete teacher directions, reproducible student directions and record sheets, all necessary forms and patterns, and a center sign. There are several different centers to create for each season of the year.
