Humphrey's Oranges

Gerald is north of the border and sampling the first of his all-day Scottish breakfasts. He is enjoying his solitude and walking a foreign coastline, but in Dunbar he stumbles across company again.They're an odd bunch on a pilgrimage to visit the greatest singer-songwriter the world has ever know. It seems a good thing to do, so keeping his ignorance of the object of their quest to himself, he tags along.The group decides to take a leaf from Chaucer's book and each of them tell the tale of why they are there. A problem for Gerald, but as the pilgrimage unfolds, that turns out to be the least of his worries.
