This book has me on such an emotional roller coaster in the worse and best possible way. Juliette - I was so over the self-pity party and it was long overdue that someone told her to stop feeling sorry for herself and start working towards something and not against everything - THANK YOU KENJI!Adam - I know your heart is broken, but holy wow! Chill sir. Broken heart - I know. You were good - but Juliette is growing and evolving - breathe man. Just breathe. Werner - Oh my lanta... It's so hard to hate you right now...! I want to, but the plot twists that keep coming - oh my heart.Kenji - you're probably my favouritest. Seriously. I just love you.
This one kinda nice tho, mi ha restituito un po’ delle speranze che avevo perso nei confronti di questa saga, sicuramente non sono nel target di riferimento ragione per cui, non riesco a percepire tutto l’hype che essa ha.
I’m very easy to please. VERY easy. Up until about 25% in, I was seriously considering dropping the series. Like, for real. It really bothers me to read a story when I don’t like the protagonist. But she grew so much, and oh my god, she’s strong as hell. Like… her spitting out a bullet was so cunt, my god.Anyway, I felt genuinely euphoric reading the last chapters and now I’m excited to keep going. I’m sure there’s a lot of suffering coming our way, but if Juliette keeps being this good, I can handle it.

Eu gostei, mas não tanto quanto Liberta me. Esse aqui não me prendeu do mesmo jeito. Não é ruim, a história é boa, os plots são interessantes e a escrita continua ótima, super fluida como nos outros livros.
Mas, sendo bem sincero, achei meio caótico em alguns momentos. É muita coisa acontecendo ao mesmo tempo, plot em cima de plot, e isso acabou tirando um pouco do impacto pra mim. Eu entendo totalmente o hype, só não bateu tão forte quanto no anterior.
No fim, é um livro bom sim, só não é tudo isso pra mim.

This book grabbed me immediately. From the very beginning, I was completely pulled back into Juliette’s world, and I genuinely enjoyed watching how far she’s come. Her growth, her confidence, and especially the way she no longer sees herself as a monster made this such a satisfying read. The emotional depth and inner conflict are still one of the strongest aspects of this series.That said, I did start to notice that the pattern became a bit repetitive at this point: Juliette struggling with her powers, conflict with friends, fallout, and then reconciliation. While it still works emotionally, it felt familiar rather than surprising.The ending, though, gave me absolute chills. It was powerful and intense, but I can’t help feeling it was also slightly rushed. It reminded me of a favorite TV show that builds tension over multiple seasons, only for the final episode to resolve everything in what feels like a single minute. Epic, yes — but almost too quick.Overall, I had a great time reading this book and was fully engaged throughout. At the same time, it does feel like a natural stopping point for the story, which makes me very curious about where the series goes next and how the narrative will continue from here.
Third novel was even better. Final boss fight didn't feel as intense as the second but it was still pretty good. The romance between Warner and Juliette finally shone through which successfully fully converted me to Warner X Juliette. But Adam randomly being kind of mean threw me off - it didn't really fit his character too well. However, I am the biggest hater of training montages and fighting scenes, so they kind of bored me. But I did like the fact that everyone started to understand Warner.The prose was appropriate. I liked the new plot developments. Pacing was pretty good. But I do have to point out that Warner got over his mother's death almost immediately because he had Juliette - like, I get it, you've finally pulled her... but your MOTHER died??

Esse livro já começou me destruindo. Posso afirmar que ele me surpreendeu, me fez rir, chorar e surtar muito. Essa releitura tem sido tão divertida quanto meu primeiro contato com o universo!\n\nAcho lindo o crescimento da Juliette. Ela passou pelo pior, estava completamente quebrada, mas conseguiu reunir forças, juntar os cacos e acreditar em si mesma. Aprendeu a se conhecer, a gostar do que é, e isso é inspirador. Amo essa mulher! Te entendo, Warner, eu também seria obcecada por ela.\n\nFico impressionada com o quanto tudo aqui é perfeito. Os personagens secundários são tão bem construídos e carismáticos que é impossível não se empolgar quando aparecem. Eles não estão ali só pra cumprir um papel ou servir a um plot — fazem parte de algo maior, e a ausência deles realmente faz falta.\n\nE o romance… meu Deus, o romance. Como lidar com esses sentimentos intensos, a tensão sexual, as declarações emocionantes? Sou completamente rendida por Warner e Juliette!\n\nA autora tem um talento diferenciado. Ela consegue escrever histórias incríveis e, mesmo nas continuações, a qualidade não cai, só melhora.\n\nEsse livro tem um lugarzinho especial no meu coração. ❤️
