Liikkeellä on äärettömän omalaatuinen retkue: täysin tumpelo velho, kirkasotsainen turisti, lohikäärme, matka-arkku joka kipittää kätevästi omilla jaloillaan... ja kaikki tämä jättiläismäisen kilpikonnan selässä.

Hilarious book; wonderful subversion of the stereotypical/'classic' fantasy story.Wonderful introduction to the world and universe!

On a world supported on the back of a giant turtle, a gleeful, explosive, wickedly eccentric expedition sets out.

The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett is wildly funny, clever, and completely unhinged in the best way. The world is chaotic and imaginative, the satire is sharp, and Rincewind is the most reluctant “hero” ever. Twoflower is the most chaotic insurance seller I've ever seen and the luggage is just a mood. I enjoy every moment of this.
