This book is not a standalone, read SAINT firstThis story was confusing for the first few chapters because it is based after SAINT and Scarlets story. I wish I had known as I would have probably waited and read SAINT first. This the first book I've read from this author, although I have read the first books in this series by other authors. The writing is ok, and as the story delved more into Mako and Robins relationship, and they were dealing with the problem of Kallus I enjoyed it more. I'm going to see how much SAINT is, as I would like to understand the storyline more fully. I'd recommend you read SAINT first too, so you can read this book and get what's actually going on.The story ends well, no cliffhanger.
