I am so happy I got to read this book. One of Sam Hall’s calmer books, Orc-ward Encounters portrays a plus-sized FMC and a sweet trio of orcs desiring only to spoil their woman and lavish her with anything she desires.Laila has dealt with self-conscious struggles and how others view her for awhile. She had gotten used to not putting herself out there to avoid the inevitable rejection. So when she finally agrees to go out on the town one night with her best friend, she isn’t truly comfortable and happy, but is there for Hannah. One thing leads to another and Laila finds herself stumbling through a dimensional rift in to orc lands, meeting Vargan, Kren, and Ghain. They show her what it’s like to have a man worship a woman, something her heart is ready accept before her brain can wrap around her situation.This story is low-angst, with no tragedy or big misunderstanding conflict to work through, just three delicious orc men wooing their woman and a definite HEA. I need more like this!
