Running in Darkness

On the eve of WWII, American artist Jack Martin sails his small boat from England to the Frisian Islands pursuing the beautiful Britta. Easy-going, apolitical, womanizer, Jack is shaken from his complacency by the brutality of Hitler's Gestapo. Unable to ignore the Nazi brutality, he lashes out against a group of Hitlerjugend bullying Jews, fights a duel with a German officer, and is thrown into Dachau.
