School's Out

"School's Out" by Tony Acero is a work of short speculative fiction. Written as a first person narrative, this story is set in the mind of a disgruntled community college student on the day he plans to make a statement to his class that will change the course of their lives. Due to the controversial subject matter, and the prevalance of campus shootings over the past decade, author Tony Acero was questioned by police after bringing this story in for critque at California State University Long Beach. It is with great honor that Loyal Stone Press publishes this work and hopes to add credence to its viability as literature rather than stiffle an emergent creative voice.
