This is quite a difficult book and requires much more thinking compared to some other behavioral economics books. Unlike other authors who tell story of other people and share research findings whatsoever, Kahneman approaches his readers by going deeper into our brain systems and explain the rationales behind our perception and behavior. Questions and situations he demonstrates in this book are what makes it feel personally magnetizing. He asks us to think and solve problems, while at the same time contemplating our behavior and react like, "Oh, okay. That makes sense."Yes, just like its title, this book brilliantly elaborates the two systems in our brain: System 1 that does the fast thinking, and System 2 that does the slow thinking. With the scenarios Kahneman gives to stimulate us to think fast and slow, after reading this book, we would have an idea why the question "what's your phone number?" and "how happy are you these days?" require different thinking capacity.
