説明
The dark labyrinthine halls of Old House concealed a terrible secret. Victoria felt it -- threatening, ugly. A few hours after learning the truth, she was dead.
Kate suspected that her cousin Victoria's death was not accidental, as reported. Determined to investigate, she applied for her cousin's former job as tourist guide at the historic old mansion owned by the Staveling family -- handsome, debonair Robert; his frigid wife, Edith; and their disturbed teenage nephew, Nicollo.
But as Kate probed deeper into the tangled, mysterious affairs of the Staveling family, the shadow of her own doom lengthened in the halls of Old House...
Once again Inspector Septimus Finch steps in to unravel the bizarre entanglement that has already cost one girl her life, and might now claim another.
