説明

In a world filled with shadowy pasts and haunting desires, two lost souls embark on a relentless pursuit, each driven by their personal demons. Their journey is marked by desperation and a longing for redemption, as they navigate the complexities of love, vengeance, and faith. The stakes rise when they become entangled in a web spun by a powerful figure with dark intentions.

As their paths converge, the tension escalates, forcing them to confront not only their motivations but also the moral implications of their actions. Each character grapples with choices that could alter their fates forever, leading them down a path fraught with danger and self-discovery. Themes of forgiveness and the haunting nature of the past linger, challenging their understanding of right and wrong.

The unpredictable twists of fate shape their intertwined destinies, ultimately revealing the intersection of pain and hope. As they delve deeper into the heart of their pursuit, they must face the ultimate question: can they truly find peace, or will their haunting pasts forever dictate their futures?

Different is one word to describe this book. It is not like most Dekker novels yet, it is. I loved Renee and Lamont...until I learned the truth of Lamont, that is. I loved Danny, the priest. This book is different in the "graphicness" as one of my friends put it, but not in a way that I would stop reading it. Graphic, in the sense, that some of the things that happened were quite shocking. (page 25 mainly). Renee's OCD made me laugh. The love Danny shows, and his "Confession" at the end is...I don't have a word for it. Amazing. All in all, I loved this book. As a novel I promoted for weeks, and bought 8 copies of,and was majorly excited about I was not let down. I couldn't put it down--unless it was necessary. Amazing read!
