A young man is born with the ability to learn the history of an area simply by touching inanimate objects close by. Secluding himself from society for fear of his ability, he is later approached by a deacon from the Catholic Church and asked to go to the Middle East and confirm the Catholic faith by visiting the stations of the cross.
