The Turning

For decades, scientists have sent probes to the outer planets and beyond. Now, for the first time, an alien probe has landed here on Earth ...When the ‘machine’ lands in farm country on the outskirts of Belham city, scientific and military personnel rush in to intercept it before it does something beyond their control. However, no matter how hard they try to catch it, it continually eludes them and their best efforts to understand it. In the end, the machine reaches the edge of the city and in a dramatic sequence of events triggers a mysterious transformation in the consciousness of the population. For those who have escaped the effects of the machine, there is little time left to understand what is happening to them and their loved ones. They must do whatever they can to save themselves from the same, terrible fate.
