Maar Hanna heeft het het moeilijkst van allemaal: zij ligt in het ziekenhuis en moet vechten voor haar leven, omdat zij te veel weet... De meiden moeten de waarheid zien te achterhalen over Alison, over A en over wat er met Hanna gebeurd, voordat een van hen het volgende slachtoffer wordt.
SARA SHEPARD droomde altijd al van schrijven. Dat begon al toen ze vier jaar oud was en verhalen over haar zusjes dekentje BeeBee verzon. Tienerdrama's schreef ze voordat ze zelf een tiener was. Ze groeide op in Philadelphia, en gebruikte haar ervaringen daar bij het schrijven van haar 8-delige serie PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.

Alright, time for being honest about this book.Starting of with what I hated the most about it, Sara Shepard used the sentence „her mouth fell open“ way too much in here. Like it’s literally in every chapter and I can’t hear it again because it’s too often in there. But on the other side, this book is by far the best out of the first four books. Finally the first A person was outed and it was a person I had in my mind because of the tv series. Again, it surprised me a bit that the person I thought A would be, was in fact A and simply died by falling off a cliff. The death of that person was so fast like legit written down in two words. I do read the other ones because now A is dead and a new A will probably come up soon, I can‘t wait to see how this is going to be turning out. Still, if you have seen or haven‘t seen the tv series so far, you do should check out this book series and you will get some backstories about each character. It’s not a miss
It was an okay book. I liked the ending and could not put the book down at the end. However, this story was a bit repetitive. I got bored for several chapters where I had a hard time reading on. I think the only reason I kept reading was because my friend said it was a good books.
Just as many reviews I've read say, this was the perfect closure for the first arc. It feels like something is missing though, it's too convenient... So I'm sure next set is going to be as good as this. The first 3 books feel like a slow-read, the third book the most, but this fourth one is fast paced, where everything is coming together at the end. I loved the whole book and had to use all my will power to not keep reading it... Totally recommended and I can't wait to read the next set!.
