When I landed in Cherry Falls after prison all those years ago, I had no idea what life had in store for me. Least of all, meeting my best friend’s sister who is about to drive me to madness. Even so, I wouldn’t give up one second of the time I’ve spent with her, but my control is wearing thin, and she’s supposed to stay with me for the next week.

There are more than enough reasons I’m not the one for her. More than enough reasons we shouldn’t be together but none of that seems to matter anymore. She’s here, in my home, and I’m going to teach her just what we are together. Something different. Something special.
