A tender, thought-provoking story that blends magical realism with raw emotion. Beautifully explores the value of ordinary things and moments. Heartbreaking, yet uplifting. And like any 5 star it lingers in the mind long after the last page.
This book was so deep. Randomly giving up something in order for an extra day to live is such a wild concept. It sounds like such an easy choice to just give things up, but when it comes down to it it could be your most prized possession and at that point is one day enough? I'm just ranting now but wow this book really made me think of my own life. The ending was going in a great direction but it was sort of left to interpretation on what truly happens and while that's fine I wanted more ahhaha
This book made me think a lot. When we have to choose what is really matter for us, when it's about taken away for us, it made me really think, sometimes we tend to focus on something that is not so important, that we missed something that I actually important. Yeah this book slaps me back into this cold world reality I guess, you can't have everything, but you can appreciate what you have now.
