I am grateful that it has generated that amount of interest.This is a space opera about first contact by the Makers, an ancient alien race with a 150 million year history. They promise extraordinary wonders, but there’s a bitch of a hitch. Amazingly in my book, "The Makers," they need help from backward and parochial us to help fight off enemies theirs and ours called Collectors another alien race almost as ancient who collect and enslave other species. This is the first book of a series. "The Makers" is a classic story in the time-honored tradition established by such eminent authors as Isaac Asimov, Arthur Clarke and Robert Heinlein and more recently many others.I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
