Fifteen years after the mysterious death of their friend, Rose Peterson, members of a tight-knit quilting group in Mystic Harbor, Massachusetts, join forces to solve her murder.

The quest to find out who killed their best friend, Rose, takes Emma Cotton and Kelly Grace across the pond, to a spooky English manor owned by the Dudley family. Colin Dudley, a former student of Rose's textile class and one of the last people to see Rose alive, has converted the manor into a bed-and-breakfast, and rumor has it that the manor is haunted. Before long, Emma and Kelly start hearing things that go bump in the night...

While the story of a curse on the estate seems to pull the women of the family into its fold, their loyalty to Rose's memory pushes Emma and Kelly to keep sleuthing, even as the warnings become more and more dangerous.
