I've actually been consumed by this series. The BANTER between these characters had me giggling and kicking my feet like never before. I went into this expecting a boring retelling of the same story we've see a million times (I mean how many books are titled "Court of..." right now), but this swept me off my feet. The magic was unique, the characters were amazing, I was so impressed with how the author incorporated sign language in a way that felt really natural to the reader. The romance was addictive. If you're looking for a "he falls first" trope, this is it. It's refreshing to see a couple actually learn to communicate with each other. This isn't a literary masterpiece or anything but it is an addictive, fun read that had me immediately downloading the sequel.
