Current Trends in Scientific Computing

This work contains 36 research papers from an August 2002 conference, reporting on recent research in modern scientific computing and applications, such as numerical discretization methods, linear solvers, parallel computing, high performance computing, and applications to solid and fluid mechanics, energy, environment, and semiconductors. Some specific subjects are adaptive wavelet methods for advection-reaction equations, a non-isotropic Jacobi spectral method, and a mathematical model for ESP simulation.
