Global Warming has decimated the planet. Billions are dead. Millions more are dying. A lucky few get to live a life of comfort inside climate-controlled biospheres called Shells, but for most people existence means unending suffering in the cruel wastelands outside the utopian domes. When a software junkie from the wastelands is accused of killing a Shell citizen, a hardened cop from the wastelands is forced to join forces with a beautiful young and blissfully naive scientist from the Los Angeles Shell to find out why. What they soon discover is a conspiracy that threatens the future of the entire human race.
