De Jacht

🔸3% “If you outlaw police scanners, only outlaws will have police scanners.” Heh! 😏
🔸6% "... tools that Billy had given him on his eleventh birthday." "He’d been practicing most of his life, after all." Isn't a little weird he didn't stop at 13 when his dad was arrested? Wouldn't he want to distance himself from those lessons as much as he could?? If he's really so worried about also being a killer?
🔸15% "Late at night." "Car died two miles back, you see." A woman walked TWO MILES with an unknown man? Is this the 70s? Really? That's stupid. Maybe even tstl.
🔸At 15% "As far as the Impressionist could tell, young Jasper Dent had the blending-in part down to a tee." At 18% "In the last year or so, he had even remarked the scrutiny of older women..." So he's blending in AND attractive to young & old alike?? How? Hmm. Is he Chris Evans?
🔸Also at 18% "He could almost hear them thinking, Not yet. But soon." GROSS. SERIOUSLY.
🔸64% Jazz just paid for his & Ginnie's dinner. He's bought stuff before. So where does he get money?
🔸79% This is NOT ya. For several reasons.
🔸93% How'd he pay for the tattoo?

The cover is ugly but the book is so good!
