Excellent book! Definitely read book one first, but this sequel is just as good as the first book! Lots of unexpected twists snd turns.
I really enjoyed this sequel. We pick up the story 11 years on with Sarah, now husband Bob and their daughter Summer. Sarah is running a charity while Bob has taken over Sarah's role ar her old firm.Sarah has a lot going on with new evidence in Adam's case surfacing and filing for divorce from cheating Bob. But Sarah always has a plan and this one takes the reader on a number of intriguing twists and turns, ultimately leading us to the reveal of what happened that night. I love Sarah's character, she's clever, cunning and sneaky, but has a fierce love and protection of Summer. I enjoyed finally knowing the truth but a part of me is wondering if there's more to come!
The Perfect Divorce was still fast-paced and easy to read, but it didn’t hit as hard as I hoped. While the twists were entertaining, I was honestly kind of sad—and frustrated—that Sarah managed to get away with everything again. Instead of feeling shocked or satisfied by the ending, it felt repetitive and less impactful this time around. I still enjoyed the ride, but the lack of real consequences made this one drop in stars.
