The story is ridiculous and I guessed about half of the plotline about 25% in. Yet the book wasn't one I wanted to put down. I liked the characters, despite the ridiculous plotline. It took them too long to do anything but yet I still liked them. The epilogue seemed to be added as an afterthought so the author could write a sequel, but I don't know if I want to read the sequel.
