Can a human tame a dragon shifter?

He is a creature who should have never been born

Half dragon and Half Elysian, Axel is a freak of nature.

Since his dragon burned his home and his mother, he's disowned the shifter part of himself.

Isolated from the dragons and the Elysian, he belongs to neither.

He is reconciled to leading a lonely life, until he meets her...

She is a woman shattered beyond redemption

Kidnapped by the Elysians, Freya will never forget what was done to her.

Her worst fears are realized, when she runs into the half dragon - half Elysian hybrid who is there to harm her clan.

Freya hadn't expected the ice cold hybrid to kidnap her in exchange for sparing her people… she definitely hadn't expected to feel the fierce attraction for him, or that he'd rekindle the passion she'd been sure she'd never feel again.

Can two broken souls heal each other?

When Freya is taken, Axel must face his deepest fears. He must embrace his dragon, and fly to her in order to save her. Yet he cannot take her as his mate, for to do so would be to kill her.

When Freya takes matters into her own hands and initiates the mating bond, Axel is in for a surprise.

Can they save each other? Or will they perish in the emotional storm that threatens to tear them apart?

The heart wrenching next episode in the action-packed, Dragon Protectors Series by New York Times bestselling author Laxmi Hariharan, featuring a warrior alpha dragon and the feisty woman he will do anything to protect…
