I'm so mad at this book! It was a 5⭐ up until the last 15%. That third act conflict was absolutely stupid. I don't understand why he thought it was the hardest thing in the world to verbalize, when everything just needed a quick honest discussion. It was such a non-issue. I'm wasn't upset because I didn't want the characters to have a fight, I'm aware that the story wasn't written with my enjoyment in mind and I understand that people have trouble communicating at in real life. My problem with this miscommunication in particular, is that it honestly didn't make sense for the characters. The thing I liked most in this book was the open genuine communication between Farley and Meyer. This is a couple that already knows each other so well and has had many deeper and harder discussions in the past, so this particular thing just doesn't make sense.That being said, this book was so sweet. So so sweet. Fair waring, I say that as someone who doesn't like huge conflicts in my romances (I like my romances to be less roller coaster and more merry go round), but this story was great.
