"In Goofy Foot, private investigator Alex Rasmussen, embarking on a rather routine search for a missing teenager, finds himself in cold water that couldn't be hotter, as the simple task balloons into a dangerous ordeal involving murderous surfers and a heart-stopping search for a killer." As Rasmussen navigates the small New England beach town where the missing teen was supposed to be vacationing with her father, his search pulls him deeper and deeper into a quicksand of treachery that lies beneath the facade of this all-American town.
