모두 보기This book had a really interesting premise with the concept of the fortune and watching how it unfolded in Francis’s life through the diary. I really enjoyed the alternating chapters between Francis’ diary from 1966 and the present day as Annie investigates. It was fun to see the dynamics of the relationships between the teenagers I the past vs in the current day as elderly adults. Francis’s chapters were definitely my favorite part. As far as the actual mystery, I feel like the investigation of the murder was a lot more interesting than the actual conclusion. I did not guess who the culprit was and it was honestly a little bit of a letdown. However, the writing was still great and if you like a cozy, dual timeline mystery, I think you’d enjoy it!
