Hornsey 1968: The Art School Revolution

In May 1968, students occupied London’s Hornsey College of Art in a dispute over student union funds. This relatively minor issue soon expanded into a broad critique of Britain’s educational system. The one-day sit-in led to six weeks of intense debate, over 70 policy papers, and a prolonged confrontation with the local authorities.
