I loved this series and enjoyed the details of the sets and experience they had instead of just focusing on the main romance in the books.

I hate to say this, but Imagine Me was a huge disappointment for me and a very weak ending to what was once a great series. From the very beginning, the book felt rushed. Almost as if the author was in a hurry to get this story finished as quickly as possible. The pacing was chaotic, the writing repetitive, and the plot felt like it was constantly recycling ideas instead of moving forward. After everything that was built up in the previous book, especially the promise of an all-out war, I expected something big. Instead, we got… nothing. No real war, no payoff. Juliette gets kidnapped again, and it felt like the same storyline we have already seen multiple times before. At this point, it became frustrating rather than dramatic. The decision to focus almost entirely on Kenji’s POV, alongside Juliette’s fragmented perspective, was honestly one of the worst choices in the book. Kenji, who I usually love, became incredibly annoying here. His voice was overused to the point where I was relieved every time a chapter ended. Juliette, on the other hand, spends most of the book confused, unaware, and disconnected, which made it very hard to feel invested in her arc. What bothered me even more was how sidelined Adam and James were. They played such important roles in the earlier books, and here they were pushed so far into the background that I sometimes forgot they even existed. It felt careless and unfair to their characters. And then there is the ending. Abrupt, unsatisfying, and over before it even had time to land emotionally. I actually had to double-check if that was really the end because it felt so sudden and unfinished.I understand that there is still a novella after this, but Imagine Me should have been able to stand on its own as a conclusion. Instead, it felt messy, rushed, and emotionally hollow. It is genuinely disappointing that such a strong and engaging series ended like this. For me, Imagine Me was not the finale this story deserved.
