In Its Time

In Its Time is book #17 in the Secrets of Grandma’s Attic fiction series.

When a postcard from London arrives for Grandma Pearl, Tracy Doyle wants to find the sender to let her know Grandma has passed. But then she discovers that the sender is actually Lillye Hutton, a high school student who vanished without a trace the night of the homecoming dance in 1950. Tracy soon discovers there are dozens of postcards from Lillye over the decades in the attic. Is Lillye still alive? And did Grandma Pearl know something about her disappearance?

Meanwhile, low waters on the Mississippi have revealed the hull of a sunken riverboat, and Tracy—along with everyone else in town—is trying to figure out if it’s the wreckage of the Golden Sunset, a luxury steamboat that sank somewhere in the area in 1870. Will its remains solve the unresolved question of what happened to the magnificent cruise ship?
