I adored this book. I read the whole thing with a smile on my face. The relationship between the main characters build up gradually and we get to see snippets of our couple in the past book.
This is an emotional and highly addictive sports romance, packed with chemistry, love, and above all personal growth. I adored the protagonists from the very first moment, and their journey kept me hooked the entire time. I simply couldn’t put this book down! Ryan and Indy’s relationship is beautifully developed, making every interaction feel real and heartfelt. This book is exactly the kind of romance I love to read, and it reaffirms my decision to continue the Windy City series until the very end. Also, once again, male protagonists written by women are simply the best!
Sooooooo at the beginning everything was cute and giggly and all then boom!! Insta lust in your face, not good not good at allAnd maybe this a hot take idk but a romance book doesn’t need to be more than 300 pages … but a 500?! We definitely lost the plot about romance books It was your typical romance book nothing crazy happening or anything ( it was even so easily predictable ) not gonna lie i really enjoyed the majority of it but still didn’t do anything for me somehow, i don’t think i’ll read the rest of the series ( maybe Rio’s book tho he’s so funny and cute )

I need someone like him, you won’t believe how much.He lovingly tends to her flowers whenever she is away for work, always eager to surprise her with fresh blooms that illuminate her face with joy upon her return. So far..... My favorite book in the series. I just love both the characters so much. Ryan Shay really set the bars high as a book-boyfriend.
Started off really good but struggled to finish towards the end, just felt really slow

J'AI ADORÉ !La manière dont, au début, ils ont bâti leur relation de colocataires, puis une fausse relation pour le patron de Ryan, avant que cela ne glisse vers une vraie relation qui se développe petit à petit, alors qu'ils ont chacun eu un passé compliqué... C'était vraiment une très, très bonne lecture !
Lo mucho que me ha gustado este libro ha sido increíble, se podía palpar la tensión se la pareja y las enormes ganas que tenía de que se acercaran más. También, me ha emocionado mucho todas las cosas que hacía por ella, es que se me hacía muy enternecedor. Además, me ha gustado las intervenciones de la pareja del libro anterior y toda esa proximidad forzada
4.3 ~ 4 okay, a 500-page book, and so so good. I loved everything. The lack of miscommunication was mind-blowing. These people were actually adults who spoke and COMMUNICATED with each other. The only reason this very worthy book didn't get a 5 star it cause I realise I am not a celebrity girl. I don't mind the money, I mind the fans part. But overall, this is an amazing, amazing book. That's probably why I am not going to read the next book.
-I like how the book just jump straight into the plot...they don't talk it up or piss around Liz just jumps into the idea and by the third chapter Indy was living with Ryan and by chp 6 he is making up dating her
-They gave already started to have feelings for each other (obviously not telling the other) because my guy is jealous about the other men hitting on her and worried that she is alone doing ride shares
-He has started to trust her and is always calling her 'blue' as a nickname
-He spoke to her in the basketball game and I have a feeling that his rival on the other team will realise and be a twat to rile up Ryan --> he fell on Indy and touched her
-Ryan previously brought her a bed but now he has brought her a bookshelf for her romance novels and continued to buy her flowers everytime they die
-Her ex boyfriend was being a twat and Ryan saved the day by making out with her in front of him and then now he is going to come to the rescue whilst she is on a shitty date
-She got the flu and he left practise to look after her and now he has sprained his ACL and she has left the flight she was going on to look after him
-The exs always pop up at the wrong time resulting in insecurities being brought up because they don't get a chance to speak...I mean come on Ry is learning ASL for her dad
-It's shi5 that he freaks out about the pregnancy test thinking it's Indys were actually it's Vee...I think Zee and Vee will make great parents...Indy doesn't want to trap him into this potential future family that she really wants if he doesn't want it but he does want it
-I mean come on my man paid for her for fertility treatment months before, he bought a house that he's been renovating since and is telling her that he wants a family...she doesnt believe the words but the buying of the house and the fertility treatment proves to her that he wants it and it's not just saying it to appease her
Ich liebe dieses Buch!!! Die Charakterentwicklung ist mega geschrieben und die Entfaltung der Beziehung ist nicht erzwungen sondern fühlt sich ganz natürlich an. Die Unsicherheiten von Ryan und seine Angst vor Zwischenmenschlichen Bindungen und wie Indy ihm langsam aber sicher darüber hinweghilft ist super geschrieben. Genauso wie er ihr hilft sich endlich selbst an erste Stelle zu setzen und das es ok ist man selbst zu sein. Das man sich nicht verstellen muss damit andere einen mögen. Auch das Thema Unfruchtbarkeit wurde super aufgegriffen und nicht mur einfach kurz darüber gewischt sindern es wurde richtig darauf eingegangen. Einfach ein MEGA BUCH!!!
