I was intrigued from the first chapter. Short chapters told from multiple character POVs help piece together the story from different angles and I love the way it all came together. Some of the twists I saw coming and some I didn’t. I will say, the biggest reveal happens closer to the middle of the book and it seemed to drag a little after that, but picked back up in the final few chapters and I really liked the ending. Overall, this is a solid, entertaining read that managed to be both thrilling and a heartbreaking look at grief, trauma, and the sometimes injustice of the justice system.
Pardon my language but… HOLY SHIT!!!I was not expecting this book to be this good! The whole time I was like what the fuck. And each and every twist just kept coming and I wasn’t expecting anything like that to happen. By the end, my jaw was on the floor 👀 like WHAT. I love me an amazing thriller and it’s up on my top 5. It’s super twisty and go in with an open mind. You think you know what is happening and you are going to be wrong. Highly recommend!
Great thriller. There was the twist, and then the next twist. I really never figured it out all the way until the end and it was tied up neatly enough to be satisfying.
