La novela presenta los acontecimientos surgidos tras la epidemia de ceguera blanca, en la cual, la sociedad sintiéndose vulnerable parece perder su humanidad. Pero la reflexión va más allá, los nobles sucesos protagonizados por la mujer del médico comprueban las repercusiones de cualquier acto, mientras lo otros personajes luchan por la salvaguarda de la dignidad y la esperanza en un mundo en el que parece que la única salvación es la muerte.

no puedo explicar el tremendo libro que es, te hace pensar y reflexionar mucho y eso que soy media boluda, la verdad muy buen libro
