Retelling.What more could you ask for with this breathtaking first installment in this series?To be honest with everyone, when I first saw the title, cover, and read the synopsis, I knew right away that this would most likely be a five star read for myself, so I am actually surprised I gave it a 4½ star rating once I finished it. The longer I had to think over the final rating, the more I realized that there were small things in the book that I didn’t really care for, but those things haven’t tainted the way I feel for this story and its characters.I absolutely loved the slight references to Anastasia that were thrown in throughout the entirety of the novel. Now for the characters, my gosh, each of the characters are precious in their own way and that is the one of the main reasons why I plan on picking up the sequel once it is finally out.
