I actually came across this series because I won a paperback of Book 2 and I hate reading books out of order, SO MEGA bonus it being FREE!The story is told in the first POV of LEX who is about to spend her eighteenth birthday in Europe with her fellow Manhattanites—Taddy Brill, Blake Morgan, and Vive Farnworth. But all doesn't go as planned (read the synopsis and you get the basis of the troubles about to befall the girls) The writing flows beautifully, I only spotted 2 spelling errors, (not that I marked the rating down for this!)The characters are full of life, they are funny, tormented and looking for acceptance and love.the books read like a TV series - and this Pilot has got me hooked! thank goodness I had Book 2 waiting for me to continue.I loved Officer Ford Gotti, the Harley-wheelin’ biker cop who arrested Lex, he can arrest me anyday "PHEW who turned up the HEAT??"The Undergrad Years is a New Adult contemporary miniseries about first loves, independence, and everlasting friendships. Contains mature content intended for readers 17 and up.I think I will be reading more of Ms Avery Asters books!
