When the mayor offers the job of "Mayor for a Day" to motivate the town's soccer team, he doesn't take into account that they might actually win. Leading scorer, Davy, enthusiastically accepts the job, and mayhem is the result! After careful consideration, Davy decides to abolish all rules for one entire day.
With no rules, kids do whatever they want and run amok through the school. Instead of obeying laws, the townspeople drive too fast and take what they want from stores and restaurants. Eventually the whole town comes unraveled, resulting in a large, angry mob on the hunt for the temporary mayor. What will happen to Davy? This lively tale illuminates the importance of respect for the law and good citizenship.
