lol what did i just read?I was well warned by the Malazan community going into this series that it is like being thrown into the deep end of Dark Souls lore, never playing a video game. I think that is an understatement. There were many times where I thought I finally grasped what is happening during Gardens of the Moon just to be ripped out of the book and put into an entirely new story with new characters with their incredibly deep knowledge of the universe where they aren't seeming to share it with me. You will need a companion summary guide at times to help you follow along because of all the jumping around.All that to say, I will be continuing my path toward the Pannion Seer with Caladin Brood.4.10/5 (will have to re-read when i finish the series)
