Misty Carmichael-The Marshall Case

When Dax Marshall is given to Misty as a new, high-profile client, she is over the moon. Not only is it an important case, but the man is gorgeous. He is interesting and charming and Misty shares an attraction with him she cannot deny.
Misty begins working the case with her new colleague and partner-Andrew Cain. Cain is an annoyance to Misty from the outset. He is a novice to the world of destiny creation and extremely argumentative. Their relationship is rocky. Misty would far rather work the case alone, but her boss, Van Vikles, insists.
