설명

In a gripping exploration of identity and morality, this story dives deep into the life of a young man navigating the complexities of the juvenile justice system. Through vivid characters and intense emotions, the narrative reveals the struggles of finding one's place in a world that often feels hostile and unforgiving. The protagonist grapples with questions of guilt, innocence, and what it truly means to be a monster in the eyes of society.

With a blend of raw honesty and thought-provoking insights, this tale captures the essence of resilience and the quest for redemption. Each page draws readers into a world where choices carry weight, and every decision can lead to unforeseen consequences. The vibrant storytelling challenges us to reflect on our own perceptions of right and wrong, leaving a lasting impression long after the last page is turned.

Walter Dean Myers masterfully crafts a narrative that resonates deeply, making it a powerful read for anyone seeking to understand the fragile nature of youth and the complexities of justice. It's a hard-to-find gem that invites readers into a heart-wrenching yet hopeful journey.

Read this entire book cover to cover on my 4-hour flight to Vegas. LOVED IT!!! Loved that this was written like a crime drama (in script) and absolutely loved how you weren't really sure of the ending until the very last page. Highly recommend!!
