모두 보기A fantastic sequel to Because of Mr. Terupt. I absolutely love how the story is told so well even with each chapter changing from character to character. Buyea does a fantastic job weaving the story in and out of the different perspectives, letting readers see all the important details but also giving them an opportunity to see which character they connect with more. Just like the first book, I was speechless, needing a few days to process and wipe tears away before writing this review. I hope to be a Mr. Terupt in someone's life. In this book, Peter is still upset about the incident in the first book and everyone is still keeping a close eye on Mr. Terupt. This makes perfect sense after almost losing your favorite teacher. But in this book we also deal with some tougher issues and character development as these characters are older. These 6th graders are dealing with new pressures, secrets, and family dilemmas that are coming more to the surface than in the previous book. I absolutely love Asher's whole story and how it helped Jeffery's family so much. I hate to say this but I am glad that Alexia went down a bad path and was saved because I think it taught her more than anyone could by just talking to her about it. I love the bond between Anna and Danielle and I hope they are sisters at some point. Learning more about Mr. Terupt's past and helping plan his wedding was definitely a sure way to make these kids even closer than before! Such a fantastic project throughout the book. Can't wait to see what surprises are in the third book!
