The year is 2011, the world has reached its modern age, but has done so through alternate history. In the 1960's Coldfusion was discovered by an inventive young man, Daniel Gilden, and with his corporation, Silverlight, he has forged an incredible modern world. Left unchecked by national powers, with his own special districts of Kingsport and Arkham, Silverlight moves to capture an ancient relic site within the Straight of Gibraltar in effort to steal the technology and secrets within to forge another miracle breakthrough. Taking it to Kingsport University, they accidentally unleash the force within upon the graduate student Vivian Maybell to what lies within. A being of an ancient species kept within suspended animation. Through a series of unfortunate events, Vivian and her peers are converted into the Succubus, a race of demons from a land unknown. The news reaches the public, and the world is rocked through the discovery. While people argue on what is to be done with the Succubae, Vivian and her friends find themselves locked in the middle of a secret war. Factions move to use the event to grab power, to upturn the status quo, and to carve out the beginning of a new age. This Genesis of the modern world comes at a heavy price, fear and passion takes its toll as emotions, beliefs, relationships and preconceptions are rocked to their core. The march towards war builds as the social scene plunges into chaos...
