No matter how hard Matt protests, JaQuan insists on working all week and driving the hour-plus to his house nearly every weekend. Something something about not needing a hotel when Matt has a perfectly good house, and not wanting to do all…that, with Gran in the house. And okay, Matt agrees with the last part, but he doesn’t agree with his boyfriend working himself to the bone and taking on all the responsibility in this relationship. That’s not what he’s about, and he won’t stand for it anymore.

The only way to make that happen, though, is deception. With a little help from the women in Jaq’s life: Gran, Patti, and Tanisha, Matt sets about proving what it means to be partners, even if he has to out-stubborn the most stubborn man he knows.
