It's a BEAUTIFUL book. The story is incredible, I even cried at some parts of the book. The ending shocked me, I recommend it to everyone. It's a must-read book
Ugly Love had me ugly crying at the end! Another CoHo I read in a day. Miles and Tate are drawn to one another, but Miles refuses to love anyone, so Tate agrees to a “no strings attached” physical relationship with 2 rules: no asking about his past and no expecting a future. Well, as you can probably predict right away, that doesn’t go well. Things get complicated and hearts get broken. The chapters alternate between Tate’s POV in the present and Miles’ POV 6 years ago. CoHo tends to have very FEELING characters and it can sometimes come across a little cheesy. But usually in the same warm fuzzy way of a Hallmark movie. Miles’ chapters were sometimes a little much and obsessive (and about his all consuming love for another girl) and Tate’s were sometimes frustrating as she continued to settle for less than she wanted with the hope he’s change his mind, no matter how often he proved otherwise. In the end, I really liked how it all came together. The last quarter made me cry real tears. Overall, it’s a story that reminds us that life is full of beautiful moments that make the ugly ones worth it.
