Susan's Simple Ruffled Baby Button Flower and New Baby Hat Pattern in Newborn and 3 Months

The ebooklet is a crochet pattern for this all-new fun ruffly flower and double crocheted baby hat. Both are worked in baby yarn (also called light or “sport” weight) with a small hook, which gives the flower and hat a finer texture than my other double crochet baby hat. Two edging options are included, as well as dozens of step-by-step photos. Included in this pattern are three sizes: the preemie/newborn is for a head circumference of 12 inches (tiny!), the Regular Newborn is for a head circumference of 13 inches, and the 3 Month is for a head circumference of 15 inches. The New Baby Button flower pattern is also worked in the same light weight yarn, but requires a switch to a smaller hook; it works up to approximately 3" across. The materials you will need for this flower and the crocheted baby hat are less than two ounces of light weight yarn and a size G (4.25 mm) and size E (3.50 mm) aluminum crochet hook. You'll need only an ounce or two of yarn for the hat and flower, depending on the size you choose.
