The Arrangement

Actress Diana Cresswell cannot find work in the summer of 1665 as the plague sweeps London. Reluctantly she agrees to be the mistress of the aging Lord Blackstock, but becomes an unwitting victim of violence when Blackstock's enemy Lord Robert Barry takes his revenge. Faced with a choice of starving or accepting a sexual arrangement with the hated Lord Barry, Diana accepts Barry, vowing never to trust him, never to let down her guard.
