The Bell Ringer

Set against the sweeping backdrop of Paris, an epic tale of love lost and found, inspired by Victor Hugo’s classic, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.

When American reporter, Esme Adams, goes to Paris to do a story on the restoration of Notre-Dame following the cathedral’s devastating fire, she meets gorgeous, tattooed bell ringer, Hugo Beaufort.

Career-driven Esme, who lost her college boyfriend in a tragic auto accident, wears an invisible coat of armor, so she won’t fall in love or get hurt again.

Reclusive Hugo, whose DNA carries the curse of Notre-Dame—the hunchback gene that miraculously skipped him— threw away the key to his heart a long time ago…until Esme rings the bell inside it.

His angel. His soulmate. His salvation.
Her awakening. Her destiny. Her hero.

From their very first encounter, a flame burns brightly, out of control, between these two broken souls. L’amour fou. A mad love that knows no boundaries. Except a ticking time bomb.

Dark secrets abound and danger lurks. Someone is trying to kill Esme. And someone is out to steal one of Notre-Dame’s greatest treasures.

Will their formidable love triumph or will the forces of evil destroy them?
