The Circulatory System

The circulatory system, the human body's river of life, is made up of the heart, blood and blood vessels. By examining these components individually, students are given an in-depth look at how three different types of tissue work together to keep cells alive throughout the body. Some of the diseases and disorders of the circulatory system are described. Current and future medical technology for preventing and treating problems related to the circulatory system are presented as well.
