The Fortune Teller

Since the death of his father, Mick, his mum and older sister Kate, have struggled to run a dishevelled B & B on the Scottish coast. Mick's mum relies on Mick now that his dad isn't around, and she seems reluctant to move on with her life. Then one day she visits a local clairvoyant who has some shocking news: Mick is going to die - and soon. When Mick finds out, his first reaction is to laugh - what a load of superstitious rubbish - nobody knows for sure when they or anyone else is going to die, do they? But gradually the prediction gets to him, raising a profound question. Are any of us in control of our destiny?
